Obituary, Charles Toler Dies in Tractor-TrailerCrash

Charles Toler, 38, of Dadeville, was tragically killed in a tractor-trailer accident in Mt. Vernon. Toler’s utility vehicle drove off the road, flipped, and slammed with a fence on Route V. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Toler was attempting to make room for a wheel loader to pass in the opposite direction. This is the 78th fatal crash in MSHP Troop D, which covers a large area of southwest Mississippi.

Charles Toler, 38, of Dadeville, was killed in a terrible accident near Mt. Vernon on Monday. Toler was driving a utility vehicle along Route V around 1 p.m. when the incident occurred, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The MSHP determined that Toler’s utility vehicle off the road, flipped, and hit with a fence, resulting in the terrible conclusion. He was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.

According to the authorities, Toler’s objective in leaving the road was to make place for a wheel loader to pass by in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, this decision culminated in the fatal crash.
